English Story Telling Competition- 17th October, 2018
A story –telling competition was held for students from class 5 to class 8 on the 17th of October, 2018 at Notre Dame School.
The judges for this competition were Mrs. Mariamal Agarwal a parent of Notre Dame and Mrs. Philomena Pennefather and ex-teacher of St. Augustine’s.
The students were well prepared for the competition and narrated stories from the Jataka Tales, Life stories of great personalities, narrative stories in rhyme and stories on personal lines. Every story ended with a moral. The audience sat in silence and lent their ears to every narration. The diction, action and expression of each competitor added beauty to their stories.
As quoted by the judges “It was tough deciding the best story-teller”. Mrs. Mariamal Agarwal appreciated the efforts of every participant while Mrs. Pennefather left a note of appreciation and encouragement for the audience and participants alike.
